Bird Control Services: Seagulls
Gulls are migratory birds that can be found throughout Ontario. Flocks of gulls can be found scavenging for food everywhere and anywhere, but they especially love dumps or landfills, parking lots, beaches, parks, courtyards, farms or any area there is a viable food source.

Background: Seagulls
Gulls will find a secluded spot to spend the evenings and sleep; these include cliffs, small islands, tall buildings, other tall structures, and even the roof of your home or business. Gulls have been known to travel several miles from where they sleep to where they forage.
Preferred Environments
Gulls like to land and rest on the roofs of homes, buildings, boats, and businesses. Gulls can deface the look of your property with their excessive and unsanitary droppings on sidewalks, parking lots, window ledges, balconies, vehicles, street lights and exteriors of residential, recreational and commercial properties.

Treatments & Solutions
Seagull droppings are highly corrosive and can eat through many different surfaces. Gulls and their feces are carriers of bacteria, viruses and a variety of parasites, which may present a health hazard. To reduce the risk of gulls resting, scavenging or nesting around your home, recreational/cottage or business property, bird proofing/exclusion is the best prevention.
